before and after; Houston & The Woodlands Family Photographer, Memorial Park

I am a photographer who happens to have two degrees in education. I love kids. I love working with kids. So, this first picture is a "before and after" of sorts. The one on the left is the very first image of the shoot, and the one on the right is the very last. Her expression on the left totally cracks me up. Think she's just a little skeptical? But by the end, we were buds. I LOVE my job!

Love this one. I love the soft lighting. It reminds me of a fairy tale.

So lovely.

two lovely ladies; Houston family photographer

These two lovely ladies and I had a great Sunday afternoon together at Discovery Green in Houston. There was a family festival going on with kayaking and giant bubbles and lots of bouncy houses. Amidst all of the craziness which had little Tate here very excited, we were able to get some lovely pictures of the two of them. Enjoy your preview, and thanks for a fun afternoon!

the cutest boys; The Woodlands, TX family photographer

You may remember this sweet family from last year. They've had a new addition since then, and he is just as cute as his big brother, who, by the way, did a fantastic job with letting me chase him around in order to get some pics. I am in love with the one of the boys together, and I have several great ones of those for you, momma.

Momma, I know this probably isn't one you'd normally choose, but I think it's so stinkin' cute. Big Brother is gently leaning in to grab "James," his toy train, and I can almost hear him thinking, "Yeah, dude...I'm just gonna go ahead and get this train out of your way before that drop of drool ruins it. Thanks."

sweet brother and sisters; Houston family photographer

This little guy and his sisters were so sweet today. We had a great time getting into all sorts of fun in Memorial Park. Thank you for a great day, sweet family. I can't wait to show you the rest!

the beautiful people; The Woodlands, TX family photographer

Is she a doll, or what? Even her teeny tiny fingernails are perfectly painted. Love, love, love. Thanks for a perfect shoot, mom and dad. See you soon!

morning light in The Woodlands; Spring, TX family photographer

Ok, I think I love every detail of this photo. First, I love the over-the-shoulder backlighting, of course; it gives it such a romantic feel. But, I really love the beautiful people (one of my very favorite families), and I love the wood, and I love the vines, and I love the clothes, and I especially love the sweet smiles. Thanks for a super-fun photo shoot. I hope you are happy with these, and I'll see you soon!

Memorial Park family photos; Houston family photographer

It looked like it was going to be overcast and drab for this shoot, but the clouds opened up about 5 minutes before we started and gave us some pretty light. Thanks for being great models, and I look forward to showing your gallery!

flowers in the city; Market Square Park, Houston Photographer

This fun family of four and I spent the morning at Market Square Park in Houston. It is the perfect blend of urban-meets-nature background. This young man wasn't having any kisses from momma (Is that what happens to little boys when they grow up? Dang.), but he made up for it by tons of cute poses with his sister. Thanks, sweet family!

Isn't she lovely; Spring, TX photographer

Here is a mini-preview for this lovely couple. We did their photo shoot at Mercer Botanic Gardens, and the light couldn't have been more beautiful. I'm saving all the rest of your pics to show you when you see your gallery--can't wait to show them to you. Thanks for a great shoot!

newborn baby boy and big sister; Houston family photographer

These two were superstars. I love when newborns are awake for a while to get a few shots with their eyes open and then drift off. This little dude couldn't have been a better model, and his big sister was a dream. How cute is the one with her eyes closed? I asked her to lay down beside her brother, and she closed her pretty eyes and did little prayer hands all on her own. I could die from cuteness.

sweet little family of three; The Woodlands, TX family photographer

LOVE. I think this is my new favorite pic. I can't wait to show you your gallery!

happy family of three; Memorial Park, Houston; Spring TX Family Photographer

This little dude was such a great model. Every time I'd say his name, he'd look at the camera and smile. Thanks for a great shoot, and I think we got the shot you were looking for, Mom! You'll see it in your gallery in a few days....

a little love in Cypress, TX; family photographer

#1: Totally love. Period.
#2: I challenged these two to a staring contest with absolutely no smiling or laughing. They failed miserably.
#3: Little S told a pretty funny joke about her dad which cracked us all up--this was the only in-focus shot I got of their reactions, because I was laughing so hard, too!

sweet siblings; Spring, TX family photographer

I had such a great time with these sisters and their brother. Thanks for such a great shoot! Mom and Dad, I hope you love these!
